So guess who is awesome and beat her mother at the fair? Yeah… That would totally be me! Out of six ladies (all who have been sewing for longer than I have been alive!) I got second place and my mum got third! Isn’t that freaking sweetastic? I was pretty excited! Plus, my dress is adorable and looks great on me, so it’s a double win.

Adrian and I are going out on a nice date this weekend. I’m excited about that too!! So excited that I’ve done about twelve happy, little, excited dances! I’m going to miss him when he leaves… Postcards from other countries are no consolation for not seeing your boyfriend for a month.

Another thing I’m excited about: Scrubs. Adrian and I just bought Season 5, so I’m going to be watching that for a while. Unfortunately, this upcoming season (Season 7) is going to be the final season of Scrubs, so I am also quite sad. I have my predictions on what will happen… Too bad that what I think will happen is not what I want to have happen. Although I’m not really sure what I want to have happen. It’s a complicated emotion.

I have been in a pretty good mood lately. Nothing major has gone wrong, which in my life is a complete shock. My life is stable. I am back at OSU, I am not in a crunch for money, I (for the most part) enjoy my job, and I have a wonderful!! relationship with my significant other. For right now, life is pretty good.

What I did during July while I wasn't updating...

Wow! It’s been a long freaking time since I last updated! In my last entry, I was looking forward to July, and now, it’s gone!

So… July.

I went on vacation with Adrian’s family to Puerto Rico. And let me tell you, it was freaking amazing!! The part of Puerto Rico that we stayed in was absolutely beautiful! We basically had our own private beach that was about one hundred feet away. I heart palm trees like mad!!

Anyways, we got to see some really interesting stuff. We went to Old San Juan, El Yunque (which is a real-life rainforest, and also where we got to swim underneath a waterfall!!)… we went kayaking, hiking, swimming. It was amazingly beautiful. Plus, I got to practice my Español skills (which are horrible), and meet Adrian’s other set of grandparents.

But as much as Adrian and I loved Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico did not love us. I got wicked bad sunburn, about seven hundred mosquito bites, and while I was rock climbing, I slipped on some rocks and cut my leg open. Adrian got sun burnt, received multiple mosquito bites, and was stung by a jellyfish! But despite all that, we had a wonderful vacation!

I absolutely love my boyfriend!

Then on the way back, Adrian and I were on a different flight than the rest of the family, and our flight out of San Juan was delayed. Because of the delay, we missed our connecting flight from Miami to Columbus, and were forced to spend the night in a shit hotel in Miami. We also had to throw away two perfectly fine bottles of alcohol that we had purchased in the Duty Free shop in the San Juan airport because we weren’t allowed to bring liquids back on the plane. Miami sucks… But the rest of the vacation totally made up for it!

After that, I sewed a dress, which I am showing at the Ohio State Fair this weekend. It’s my first dress ever, so I’m pretty excited. I will put pictures of it up on Facebook next week.

Then, I went to Pittsburgh for business. Pittsburgh was kinda dull, but I got to see a bunch of people that I haven’t seen for a year, so that was okay. Also, I got to hang out with this really cute Dutch guy… so that made Pittsburgh wonderful!

I also saw Harry Potter. I don't read the books, but I always watch the movies!! It was pretty cool! I still think it's David... One thing that made me giggle was all the action that David got! That was a pretty intense kiss - especially for your first one! No one kisses like that on their first try!! I did love how they freaking made out, but didn't actually touch eachother with anything but their lips and tongues!! tee hee... Way to go, David / Harry!

The only reason I’m mad about July was that I only got to see Mitch for about three hours. And now he’s in Italy… Jerk face. I’m-a gonna miss him like mad.

And now it’s August… which means school starts in a month!! Call me a nerdie, but I’m incredibly excited! I’m back at OSU now, so my life is wonderful!! I’m going to study like mad and get all A’s so I can hang my letter saying I made Dean’s list on my refrigerator!! I’ll also probably make copies to hand out to other people who I think should have it on their refrigerator! Yay!! I’m actually frightened by how excited I am about school! And I’m a little nervous, but I know that I’m going to kick ass, not only this quarter, but pretty much every quarter! So rock on me!

Also… I just lost the game. But so did you, so it’s okay.

I just thought I would say again how much I love Adrian. I know I'm being stupid and sappy, but I don't care. We have been together for almost three years now. That's amazing! I have so much more that I want to say, but no words with which to say it... I loves him.

I'm such a nerdie.

I don't know what it is, but for some reason I always have to complete whatever survey Trace posts... It's a sickness.

I went and saw Pirates on Sunday. I was a bit disappointed. It was pretty good, but still not as good as the first one... Some parts of it were pretty bizarre though! The whole peanut thing was a bit weird (if you've seen it, you know what I mean. If you haven't, then I apologize for your confusion). One fun thing about the movie was that it was an excuse to wear my Halloween costume again. I heart dressing up! Especially like a pirate!!

But this year for Halloween, I am going as Dr. Eliot Reed (a.k.a. Blonde Doctor) from Scrubs! It's gonna be so much fun!! Except that I'm going to have to dye my hair blonde... I don't like blonde hair. But it will be worth it. Adrian is going to go as Janitor. It's gonna be awesome!! I can't wait for Halloween!!

I am also really looking forward to July! Only 35 more days until Adrian and I leave for Puerto Rico with his family!! Unfortunately, the only way I get to share a room with Adrian is if I call his parents Mike and Geli. That was the deal that they made me... It's kinda weird bargaining with them so that I can sleep with their son... Eep. I guess I better start calling them by their first names...

Also, Mitchell comes back in July and I'm really looking forward to that!

In other happy news, I am now officially a student at The Ohio State University again!! I start classes in the fall! I am so freaking excited!! And pretty proud of myself for getting my grades back up and whatnot. Go me.

Also, if you haven't seen, Adrian got the grant he applied for!! Yay! I'm so proud of him!
